In April 2021, when the second wave of Covid-19 disrupted lives throughout India, Devanand Telgote, aspiring for civil services, found himself at a critical moment. He was preparing for an UPSC interview for Civil Services in Delhi, when the Union public service postponed the schedule due to a deteriorated pandemic situation. Devanand left the capital for his hometown in Akole, Maharashtra. During this journey, he infected the virus, turning him, which would soon push him to the brink of death.
What began as a slight case has soon turned into a life -threatening life. “My chest serious score was at first around 10, and the doctors hoped that the drugs would work. But my RT-PCR tests are still returning negatively, even though my condition has deteriorated,” he recalled. The chest severity score increased to 20, indicating almost 80% of the lung damage. His health, placed on the fan, has deteriorated rapidly.
At the moment, Devanand has entered Friends and the next CEO of Telangana (Law and Order) Malesh M. Bhagwat. “I spent four months in the ICU, a lot of it to support ECMO, not once, but twice,” said Mr. Devanand.
He recovered against all chances and returned to his dream. Written by the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Mains test and during this period Mahesh Bhagwat continued to apply. “He would call regularly and ask,” Are you preparing? What is your health? “His support was steadfast,” Mr. Devanand said.
He is one of the many recipients of the mentor initiative led by Mahesh Bhagwat. The program, launched via WhatsApp and through personal calls, offers support for applicants who are preparing for the civil service exam (CSE), Indian Forest Service and central armed police forces (CAPF). “Each candidate gets personal attention. I speak to each of them for at least 45 to an hour. In this year’s results of civil services from 1,009 selected candidates were mentorized. For IFS of 143 selections, more than 80 of his mentor circle were,” he said.
Several candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh also provided the highest series after browsing through the mentor program. Among them is Air 11 is Chadha Nikhil Reddy from Nalgonda and Air 40 is Avinash Reddy from Karimnagar. Among them is the anabh cani, which this year ended the Indian Forest Service with the order of All India 1. “I started preparing in 2021 focusing on civil services and forest services. The syllabus is similar to the preliminary preliminary state, so I did not create a strict line between them,” she said.
She also added that she could not clean preliminary forest services in her first attempt. “I reached the interview phase for the civil service, but I didn’t take the final list. My second attempt came just five days after the first result, I couldn’t erase any test. In the third attempt I cleaned both preliminary and network, and although I missed the final list of Cling Services, I went through the forest service.
She was presented with the Malesh Bhagwat program with a friend. “With each of us he would do one on one. This kind of attention made a big difference,” she said.
