
When Delhi prepared for Durg Puja, Dandiya Nights and Ramleel celebrations, Delhi police released several traffic advisors to ensure a smooth traffic flow and commute safety. Residents and commuting are advised to plan their travel routes in advance and, if possible, prefer public transport.
Durga Puja in Ram Krishna Ashram: September 28 – October 2, 17:00 – 23:00
Durga Puja celebrations in Ram Krishna Ashram, RK Marg are expected to significantly affect traffic.
Probably affected roads: Chelmsford Road, Basant Lane, Panchkuian Road and neighboring routes towards RK Marg and New Delhi Railway Station.
Proposed alternative routes: Road Rani Jhansi and Panchkuian Road.
Commuting is recommended to remain updated through the official channels of the Delhi Traffic Police.

Dandiya Festivals in Yamuna Sports Complex & North Campus: 27 – 28 September, 17 – 11 September
Sports Complex Yamuna: Road No. 71 (Satyam Chowk – Vivekanand Mahila College) and road No. 71a (Ashoka Niketan – Vivekanand Mahil College) will witness heavy traffic. Alternative routes include roads No. 56 (Charan Singh Marg) and road No. 57 (Maharishi Dayanand Marg).

North Campus Dandiya Mahotsav: CHHATRA Marg, University Marg, Sudhir Bose Marg and GTB Marg will be affected. GC Narang Marg will be closed. DE will be available through St. Stephens RL, Hindu College RL, Kranti Chowk, Patel Chest and Mall Road. It is recommended to use alternative routes through Khalsa College RL & GTB Marg.

Ramleel celebrations all over the city: September 27 – October 2, 17–11 hours
Narela (sector and/10): Affected road SRHC; Alternative routes via SEC-5 Road & Ramdev-Narela Road.
Rohini (Sector 10, Japanese Park): Bhagwan Mahaveer Marg, KNK Katju Marg, Hl Parwana Marg, Ram Murti Passi Marg. Alternative routes: Jail Road, Bawana Road, Kadambari Road, Maharaja Agrasen Road.
Pitampura (DDA Ground & TV Tower): The seized roads include Lala Jagat Narayan Marg & Dilli Haat Road. Alternative routes for Wazirpur → Mangolpuri/Vikas Puri/Janak Puri and Prembari → Rohini have been designed.
Ashok vihar phase-: Ch. Gulab Singh Marg (Ambedkar Chowk on the pregno chowk) will be influenced. Alternative routes include KC Goel Marg → Ring Road and Maharaja Naar Singh Marg.
DERAWAL NAGAR, Town-II Model: Lala Achint Ram Marg and Brahma Kumari Marg Alternative routes over Bham Shah Road & Stadium Road.
Note for all Ramleela locations: Parking is not allowed on festival routes. Commuting is advised to avoid sections of the festival and follow the instructions for the traffic police. Public transport is recommended for comfort.
