
The wounded Casper Ruud proved to be a match for a charged Nuno Borges, which ensured a great upset by won the match 2-6, 6-4, 6-1, 6-0 on Wednesday 28th May to get into the third round of Men Open. Borges. Ruud, who was in 2022 and 2023, tried to go a little better this time, but the injury destroyed his plans.
Norwegian seemed to have control over the match in the first set before Borges returned in the second. Ruud, however, suffered injuries in the third set and was forced to take a medical time limit and was treated on the left leg.
