
24-time Grand Slam Champion Novak Djokovic advanced to the semifinals of the French Open 2025 commanding power. On Wednesday, June 4, 38-year-old finalist Alexander Zverev 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 at Court Philippe-Catrier defeated.
The Serb lasted three hours and 17 minutes to overcome the Germans and secured its place in a record 51.
Djokovic also became the oldest player in 57 years, achieved by the semi -final of the French Open, the last performance that Richard Gonzales was last 40 years old and 18 days. After suffering from four exits from the first round at the beginning of this year, Djokovic appeared from the rhythm, but in Paris organized an impressive comeback and maintained his hope alive for 25.
Zverev began strong and broke Djokovich early to go 2-0 up and eventually took the opening set-first set of Djokovic to the tournament. But from the second ensemble further, Djokovic increased its level and did not allow Zverev to serve the rest of the match for the rest of the match.

Djokovic, who spoke after the victory, said he had to mix things and effectively put on shots to guess Zverev.
“Especially during the last game, my tactics were just playing shots. So I played three or four in a row, you may not see it on TV, but there is a lot of wind on one side, so it feels that you have to hit twice as hard.
Zverev was disappointed with his inconsistency and made 42 unforced errors, although he hit 38 winners – just four less than Djokovic’s Tally.
In the semifinals, Djokovic faces an impressive challenge in World No. 1 to Jannik Sinner, who sailed around Kazakhstan Alexandra Bublika with a dominant victory of 6-1, 7-5, 6-0 in the quarterfinals.
