Day three at Roland-Garros 2026 marks the official entry of the sport’s biggest stars, with world number one Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka beginning their campaign on the Paris clay. With the tournament still in its first round, the top players will be looking to gain control early and avoid the upsets that often define the opening week in Paris.

At the Philippe-Chatrier court, Sabalenka begins proceedings against the Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, with the goal of building momentum after an indifferent start to the season. It is followed by Alexandre Muller vs Stefanos Tsitsipas and Coco Gauff vs Taylor Townsend, a high-intensity all-American clash. Sabalenkova is aiming for her first title at Roland-Garros after falling short in last year’s final.

The night belongs to Jannik Sinner, who will trumpet with French wild card Clement Tabur. Italian, he currently has a 29-game winning streak and widely considered the main favorite for the title in the absence of Carlos Alcaraz, he enters as the top seed and a career Grand Slam contender.
