
World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka attacked the semifinals of the female singles French Open 2025 after Tuesday 3rd on Tuesday, June 3, defeated Qinwen Zheng in direct sets of 7-6 (7-3), 6-3), 6-3.
Sabalenka also remedied Mirra Andreevy, 17 -year -old, and last year, Roland Garros. When Sabalenka has not yet hit the set in the ongoing Major clay court, she also achieved the ninth Grand Slam Semise in her last 10 performances.

Sabalenka also won 34 out of 39 direct set matches this season. It is more than the overall victory of any other player on the tour (Jessica Pegula – 31 wins). Sabalenko also played in the semifinal of the French Open in 2023, where Karolna Muchov defeated her in direct sets.
“It was a real battle and I had no idea how I could break my back and go back to the first set. I didn’t start well and I’m glad I found my rhythm and won,” Sabalenek said in an interview with the court.
“I think we are all here for one reason. Everyone wants the beautiful trophy. I’m glad I have another opportunity, the next semifinals to do better than the last time. I really hope that at the end of the Claycourt season I am really proud of myself,” Sabalenka added.
As Sabalenka pinned zheng
Against Zheng, Sabalenka found herself under the problems soon after she dropped her portion. Soon, however, she made a break back and took the match in the tone. From there she did not look and closed comfortably.
In the second set, Sabalenka took a break early, but Zheng returned to make a break back. Belarus, however, did not take advantage of and another break went 5-3. She finished the match with her fourth point of the game break.
In the semifinals, Sabalenka will be against the winner of the second quarterfinal among the defending champion Iga Swiatlek and Elina Svitolina.
