Alexander Zverev continued his gentle run at the French Open, when on Saturday 31. May in Roland Garros overcame Flavio Cobolli 6-2 7-6 (4) 6-1 to reach the fourth round for 8 consecutive. However, the magical run of Joao Fonseca ended when he was gifted by the fifth seed Jack Draper in direct sets.
Zverev broke at the beginning of the first set and barely put his leg badly during the game. After he lost the first set, Cobolli looked like a seven-match lane that was in danger because the second set of See-Saw went to the tiebreaker. The German was able to cross his Italian counterpart in a tiebreaker and looked in a hurry in the third set. In the fourth game he broke Cobolli and used his stormy service to win the game at his fourth point of the match.
