
Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited eligible candidates from BC, SC and ST communities of erstwhile West Godavari district to apply for free coaching for Railway Recruitment Board Group D 2026 exam.
District Backward Classes Welfare Officer V Nagarani said the program is being implemented as per the guidelines of the Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Department in Vijayawada. In a statement issued on Friday, she said that aspirants should submit their applications at the BC Study Circle in Eluru on or before March 23.
A total of 100 candidates will be selected for the program. They will get two months of free coaching along with stipend and study material. Only candidates who have already appeared for the Railway Recruitment Board Group D 2026 exam can apply for the training program.
Ms. Nagarani said candidates will be selected on merit based on the marks obtained in the Class 10 examination. Selected applicants will start attending coaching courses from March 25.
Applicants should submit their personal details along with copies of class 10 marks memorandum, caste certificate, recently issued income certificate evidencing annual income of parents not exceeding ₹ 1,00,000, Aadhaar card, bank passbook, copy of online application submitted for Railway Group D exam and two passport size photographs.
