The industry department has launched a framework for Hi-Tech production in the state as part of the new industrial policy of the government. The aim of the framework is to turn Kerala into a global research and development center center, design and engineering, testing, certification and production in the manufacturing sector.
The Minister of Industry P. Rajeeve said on Thursday on Thursday that the government will expand all possible support for these initiatives based on, in addition to various other AIDS promised in industrial policy.
He said that the government increases its efforts to attract more investors in the state at a time when increased tariffs and other new US government controls create crises around the world. Kerala has an excellent talent fund for global capabilities (GCC), global technology centers (GTC) and for areas such as design, research and development and digital marketing based on technology, said Mr. Rajeeve.
The Minister pointed to the recent LinkedIn report, in which approximately 40,000 experts working in different parts of the world addressed a company based in Kerala or established new businesses in the state.
The crisis represented by the US can be transformed into the opportunity by developing top production industries that contribute significantly to the progress of the knowledge economy.
The state has also embarked on the initiative to support the ecosystem of Industry 4.0, focused on sustainability and balanced development topics. The initiative is based on the ESG sustainability principles, which is the basis for the model of the responsible industry and responsible investment.
