The Nirmal city police on Saturday arrested four youths for beating up a doctor and staff of a private hospital in the city after they refused to pay an exorbitant bill for a higher insurance claim while discharging a patient on Thursday (March 26, 2026).
Based on the initiative of the SVR Children’s Hospital management, the police registered the case and started an investigation.
Based on the CCTV footage, the police identified and arrested the accused.
The accused were identified as Mohd. Salman, 27, Mohd. Shoukath, 28, Shabad Ali, 26, and Mohd. Azad, 21, all residents of Nirmal town.
