Four people, including three women, suffered injuries and tried to escape the wild elephant attack on Choorani near Thottilpalam in Kozhikode on Saturday. Thottilpalam natives of Santha, Sanika, Sheeja and her son Ebin had a close escape. According to the police, Santha and the sanity were persecuted by an elephant when they were on their way to a nearby field with their cows. The other two were attacked when traveling on a motorcycle. The police said no one suffered serious injuries in the incident that occurred in the morning.
