Four renovated roads in the district were opened on Friday (May 16, 2025). They were practically inaut by the Minister of General Education v. Sivanketty. Roads are the temple of the Church of Kuruthkkad-Mullikulangara in the election district of the Mavelikra constituency, the Chirakkal-Poocakkal road in the Aroor election district, the Chakka-Kankalam road in the Cuttanad and Pallickkam Road. The department of public works reconstructed the road at the total price of Crope 13.42 GBP.
