According to the police, the bodies have been preserved for postmortal examination and their families were informed.
The eye witness says:
Sumit, who worked in the electronics store, said, as PTI quoted, “about 30 to 35 of us are working in Mahai electronics. It was lunch when the fire began. Aman, Payal, Ravi and Ayushi were on the same floor where the fire broke out.
“Everyone ran as soon as we saw fire and thick smoke. Most of us managed to get out safely, but four of our colleagues were stuck inside. We immediately called an ambulance and informed about the matter. We were helpless because the flames have already expanded,” he said.
The police officers, including the DCP Vichitra Veer, also rushed to the place and ordered the officers to examine the case properly. The officer stated that the relevant proceedings were initiated. “We are investigating all aspects, including whether there has been any penetration in fire safety or negligence norms when handling electrical equipment,” he said.
Police teams, including forensic experts, visit their place to collect evidence and find out the exact cause of the fire.
