Four people were killed and two others injured in a road accident near Srikalahasti town in Tirupati district on Monday (May 4, 2026) when an ambulance rammed into a stationary truck from behind. Four of the six passengers in the ambulance died at the scene.
The accident took place near Urandur on the Tirupati-Naidupeta stretch of the national highway. Two injured people in an ambulance were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
