Four individuals from Maharashtra, including three women, were arrested on Friday at Secunderab Station, while transporting 46 kilograms of dry Ganja from Odisha to Aurangabad. The confiscated smuggler is awarded at 22.93 GBP Lakh.
The defendant, identified as Bali Atish Pawar, 24, Rohit Godaji Chavan, 35, Rajani Rohit Chavan, 28, and Padma Ashok Pimpale, 44 years old, were arrested by the secondaryrabad team (GRP), elite antinarcotics Group (Eagle) (Eagle) (RPF) during law control (EAGLE) (RPF). Two other charges of Berhampura, Odisha, Bhura and Ashish Kumar remain free.
Arrest individuals, all relatives from the Ahmednagar district, joined the Falaknum Express in Berhampur after purchased 21 Ganja packages weighing a total of 45.8 kilograms. When they arrived in Secunderabad in the morning, they waited in the general waiting hall for the Devagiri Express to achieve their goal. Around 12.40 hours, police staff were captured during a routine control of drugs, supported by a germinate. During the interrogation, all four confessed to carrying a smuggler in their bags.
The police said the main accused, Bali Atish Parar, came into contact with escape suppliers while working as a worker in Khammam two years ago. In 2023, she was previously arrested in the Act on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances (NDPS) and returned to prison. After being released, Ganja from Odisha continued to smuggle from Odisha to Maharaštra, bought it for 5,000 GBP for two kilograms of packet and sold it for a double price.
She recently encountered three other accused at the family gathering, where they discussed their financial problems. Pawar then convinced them to join her while smuggling and promising high profits. They traveled together to Odisha, bought Ganja and tried to transport it by train.
