Four people were killed on the spot, and others suffered injuries when picking up the vehicle they traveled came across a road culvert near Amarapur village in Deodurga Taluk from Raichur district early on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Nagaraj, Soma, Nagabhushan and Murali-All in the age group 35–50. Anand, a driver of the vehicle who suffered an injury, was moved to Raichur Institute of Medical Science (Rims) in Raichur.
According to the police, all of the various villages in Hindupur Mandal were Andhra Pradesh. They went to Shahapuro in the Yadgir district of Hindupur to buy sheep.
The accident occurred between 2:00 and 2.30 hours; It is suspected that the driver could retreat, resulting in an accident.
The case was registered at the Gabbur police station. The police moved the bodies to the rims.
