The Kurnool police on Thursday arrested four suspects in a case of murder registered at the Kurnool I police station.
Speaking to the media, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) J. Babu Prasad said the incident took place on February 22 near Anil Bar near the old bus stand after a fight. The victim, Amarachintala Manohar, was allegedly attacked with knives and sticks and later declared brought dead at the Government General Hospital.
The official said the accused were arrested near the Joharapuram power station on the outskirts of the city. A car, two blood-stained knives and the weapons used in the murder were seized. All four were arraigned and remanded in custody.
