Four arrested for breaking into a house in Kadapa district

The Kadapa police have arrested four persons, including two minors, for their alleged involvement in a house burglary case at Yerraguntla on December 21, 2025.

The gunmen were identified as Y. Vijay Paul (19), Shaik Gabuvalli (19) and two minors of chilamakuru village yerererguntla mandar.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Nachiket Vishwanath Shelke told the media that the boys were addicted to vice and resorted to theft to earn quick money.

According to the police, the group allegedly searched the residence of grocer D. Ramesh Shetti and broke into his house on December 21. They fled with gold ornaments and other valuables. Based on the complaint filed by the victim, the police registered a case and traced the crime to the local youths, who were picked up on the Muddanur-Kadapa road on Tuesday.

Gold ornaments weighing 210 grams were recovered from the accused.
