Alluri Venkata Satyanarayana Raju, founder of Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC) Limited and Padma Shri awardee, passed away on Tuesday (October 13) at the age of 89. Born in Antarvedipalem village in erstwhile East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Raju started his entrepreneurial journey in N1978 in Limited1. industry and society won him the 2010 Padma Shri in the Business and Industry category.
