Telangana Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha on Thursday, April 9, laid the foundation stone for a 100-bed critical care unit at Kondapur Area Hospital in Hyderabad as part of efforts to strengthen advanced healthcare services in the city’s expanding IT corridor.
The ₹ 41 crore facility will be developed with modern medical infrastructure and fast timelines to address the growing healthcare needs of the region. The minister noted that lifestyle-related health conditions are increasing in the IT hub due to sedentary work practices, highlighting the need for better critical care services.
