Former ‘Real Housewives of the Potomac’ star Mia Thornton was arrested Wednesday at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. She was reportedly charged with theft after police said she stole $11,000 worth of furniture from a furnished rental apartment.
Mia Thornton was taken into custody and booked into the Fulton County Jail.
A police report obtained by CBS News Atlanta said Fields-Thornton was accused of stealing furniture from an apartment she was renting on Marietta Street.
In the report, the apartment management company claimed that Fields-Thornton and a man, identified as Jared McGriff, “suddenly moved out of the unit in the middle of the night” on Oct. 28 and took furniture and a television.
The total value of the furniture allegedly stolen is estimated at $11,000, police said.
In body camera footage, Fields-Thornton confirmed with police that she knew there was a warrant out for her arrest.
Fields-Thornton, who started on the popular Bravo show during its sixth season, announced that she has moved to Atlanta and will not be returning to the show in April.
