The former Congress of the Mile Kakasheb Pedil died on Wednesday in Belagavi.
He died after a short illness. He was 70 years old. He was admitted to the Kle Dr. Prabhakar Kore.
His wife died a few years ago. He was survived by his son and daughter and some family members.
In 1999, 2004 and 2008 he was a congress of the MLA of Nippani. But he lost another election to the assembly.
The leader of Marathy was considered as a follower of former Minister of Union Sharad Paware. The leaders of the Congress in the district depended on its leadership to get the voting of the marathy for the party.
He was deeply involved in local cooperative companies and confectionery.
In 1975 he finished Ba from Dev Chand College. He continued his life in Walki, his native village near Nippani, on the border of Karnataka-Maharashtra and after leaving politics.
