Former Minister Uttar Pradesh Gayatri prajapati was hospitalized on 30 September after being injured after a quarrel with a prison in Lucknow prison, the authorities said.
The prisoner hit him with a sliding part of the cabinet, they said. Prajapati, former leader of the Samajwadi party, was arrested in 2017 for charging of rape.
Prajapati was admitted to the prison hospital in the Lucknow district after the quarrel. “Reporting with a prisoner from a cleaning duty in the hospital led to the tail,” the agency quoted the official.
“The prisoner of the cleaning duty has enraged and hit him with the sliding part of the cabinet, causing gayatri injury to Prajapati. Immediately treatment was done and now it is completely healthy,” he said.

Prajapati, however, claimed that he was “attacked by a vicious criminal” while he spoke to or.

Prajapati was sent to treatment at the medical university of King George (kgmu) in Lucknow. After the attack of Maharaji prajapati, the wife of Prajapati, who is also a party to Samajwadi of Amethi, arrived at the hospital.
