The former government’s prosecutor was convicted of the outrage of the modesty of the woman.
Dhanesh Mathew Manjooran, a lawyer, was sentenced to one year of simple imprisonment and ordered on Thursday (September 25, 2025) to pay a fine of 10,000 GBP, Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate 2.
The court found him guilty of crimes according to section 354 IPC. The alleged incident occurred in 2016. The prosecution was led by the assistants of the prosecutors of EK Sheeja, Mc Anish and Honey Jacob.
