The Minister of irrigation N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, also the pilot of the Indian Air Force, demanded the full transparency of the Indian government on the losses suffered during the recent Sindoor operation, in particular the reporting of shooting aircraft Rafale.
On Saturday, he focused on a press conference in Nový Delhi and pushed a government led by BJP in the center to act urgently about the aircraft’s chief of the Air Force of Air Force, Lack of Talents and the gap between sanctioned and operational flights.
He referred to the recent statements made by the chief of Air Marshal AP Singh, who said “should concern us all”. He quoted warning about serious delays in the supply of fighter aircraft and weapons that, as he said, were a “serious problem for the Air Force”.
He also quoted briefing Air Marshal Bharti, Air Operations CEO that the pilots returned safely without denying the requirements for the aircraft shot down.
Mr. Reddy also criticized the BJP government for originally denied these losses and launched a campaign against the leader of Rahul Gandhi. “Now that the CD himself spoke, the government should stop denial,” he said. “We are proud of our armed forces, but transparency strengthens trust and helps us learn from every operation.”
Mr. Reddy, a graduate of the National Defense of the Academy, who flew MiG-21s and MiG-23s, recalled that during his time in the parliamentary defensive committee, he and his colleagues repeatedly identified the Indian operational fighter shine. He said they are 42 squadrons under the sanctioned force, each with 16 to 18 aircraft. “India currently has only 31 squadrons, which is significantly lower than required, especially when we face the secret threat from China and Pakistan.”
Reddy quoted the main marshal and said, “India lagged behind China in defense and production, although our educational standards remain better.” He stressed that it should be “serious concern” and called on the government to take the necessary remedial steps.
Mr. Reddy pointed out that the Air Force currently needs 35 to 40 fighter aircraft a year, but the hall, which is repaired by 24 fighter aircraft per year, could not. “The boss of air air also called deeper nausea, contracts signed with unrealistic terms that disrupt the process of awarding public procurement and erode institutional trust,” he said.
