The deadline for recording academic records of the National Academic Depository-Academic Bank of Credits (NAD-ABC) was extended to 30 November. Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) K. Madhu Murty has now been reopened.
The NAD-ABC platform, if it is combined with an automated registry of the academic account (APAAR), provides each student a lifelong and secure digital academic identity. This initiative allows students to safely store and transfer their academic credits and documents, ensuring academic flexibility and mobility, simplified acceptance and application of employment and recognition of various forms of learning. It also helps to reduce the administrative workload for institutions by eliminating the need for repeated paper verification.
Mr. Murty asked university educational institutions to provide broad publicity and awareness of the benefits of the NAD-ABC and APAAR initiatives between their students and employees. Users can log in to the Apaar ID on visiting the “Student” site on the web and register with your mobile number or Aadhar ID. He encouraged students to enroll in their APAAR ID and ensure that their academic records were recorded on the platform before the deadline.
Murty said the Council has already organized three workshops for nodal officers of different universities and institutions to ensure smooth implementation. He recommended institutions to instruct their node officers and APAAR tests to coordinate with all parties to complete this activity.
