Observing that GHMC was to allow illegal/unauthorized constructions to be practiced and then considered to be regularized, and on Tuesday, GHMC commissioners and Commissioner HMDA in the manicond of the Jagirian village of Gandipet in the district district.
The judge ordered both the highest officials to appear in person in front of the bench unless they were reported within 2 July. The report should include details of the number of permits granted for the construction of buildings that have been made without permission and structure that have deviated from sanctioned plans.
Judge Baskar Reddy tried to know from officials what steps were launched under the GHMC Act against illegally built structures. In how many cases the authorities wrote the department of electricity and water to disconnect energy and water into unauthorized structures. The report should mention what steps were taken against GHMC officers who could not check illegal structures in this area.
GHMC’s approach and government departments that support illegal construction in violation of law required strict measures, said the judge in an order that despised a court petition. The judge noted that Prima facie seemed that GHMC and HMDA did not perform HC orders, especially with regard to seizure or removal of illegally increased structures.
