Once Rashford was considered one of the most promising attackers in Europe, he saw his form in recent seasons. After falling out of kindness in the United States, a 27 -year -old man spent the second half of last season for a loan in Aston Villa. In Barcelona, Rashford will be part of the front line, which already includes Lamine Yamal, Brazilian Raphinha and veteran striker Robert Lewandowski. Rashford arrived in Barcelona on Sunday to complete the agreement. On Tuesday he met his new teammates and reportedly trained with the team. Financial information on the agreement has not been published, but reports from the Spanish media suggest that the loan includes the opportunity to buy England International for approximately EUR 30 million ($ 35 million) for Barcelona.

Barcelona initially targeted Nico Williams to Spain during the transmission window, but the athletic Bilbao star signed a long -term extension and opened the door for Rashford’s move. Although she had the most prolific attack in Spain last season, Barcelona wanted to strengthen her front line.
