Andhra Pradesh State Food Commission Chairman Ch. Vijay Pratap Reddy on Thursday (August 7) asked officials to be committed to the well -being of students.
He looked at the noon dining scheme in Anganwadi centers and government schools in Pedana in the district of Krishna. Together with the district officials, Mr. Vijay Pratap visited the Mandal Parisad Elementary School in Pedan, Mandal Parsihad Higher Secondary School in Balliparro and other schools in nearby cities.
The team looked at the kitchens and warehouses and tasted the lunch meal ready for students.
According to an official press release, the District Administration students said to Mr. Vijay Pratap that they were satisfied with the face and had no complaint. Later he asked officials to ensure that the offer prescribed by the government was observed.
Chicken should be provided three times a week, eggs for days, snacks in the evening, morning and night in the morning and fruit at night, he said.
Krishna District Civil Supplies Officer G. Mohan Rao, directors and others accompanied the chairman during the inspections.
