The cards inside the border on its pillows and the ball appeared on the cummins’ left. He immediately reacted and jumped forward, sinking and finishing a sharp one -handed catch as he slipped over the playground. It was a standout display of reflexes and the determination of the captain.
Western Indies was in early problems and lost two goals in the first 10 overs. Brandon King, however, after debuting in Barbados played only his second test with a composed of 75 out of 108 balls to stabilize the shifts.
Shai Hope and Roston Chase both made a promising beginning, but could not convert them because Nathan Lyon dismantled the middle order with three important goals. Despite stuttering, the lower order fought back. Alzarri Joseph and Shamar Joseph added 27 and 29 runs, which helped Western India reach 253, only 33 runs on a total of the first Australian first shifts.
At the final session of West India, she soon hit a new ball. Jayden Seales removed Sam Constant and Usman Khawaja to exert immediate pressure on the Australian highest order.
Cummins will now hope for a stronger effort to make a second exchange on its part because it seeks to ensure the Whitewash series.
Steve Smith will be in the center of attention again because after his return to look like he will find a form Finger injury suffered during the World Cup final against South Africa. In the first shifts he managed only three runs before Joseph fell to Alzarri.
However, launching was not easy on this surface and a trio with fast bowling Seales, Alzarri and Shamar Joseph could again cause problems with pace and movement.
