Mrs. Dhoni was seen to talk to the CEO of CSK Kasi Viswanathan after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) made early departure from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
After playing in Chepauk, Dhoni looked into a cheerful mood when he interact with the CEO of CSK in the middle of the 2025 speculation, which was his last season as a player. Super Kings will play for Pride in their last four league matches as they still disappeared at the bottom of the table with four points and a clean running rate of -1.211.

After he was first asked for a bat, CSK scored 190 in 19.2 overs, then PBKS chased the target with two balls. Dhoni said Super Kings needed more runs on the album, but appreciated Dewald Brevis and Curran Sam for their 78-running partnership after CSK lost early goals.
“I think launching, yes, it was the first time we put enough runs on board, but I feel it was a little short before the par. It’s Batsmen’s challenging, but we needed a little more. Partnership between Curran and Brevis was fantastic.
Dhoni also had praise for Curran, who made 88 out of 47 balls, attached nine four and four six, while he detonated to No. 3.
“I think Curran is a warrior, we all know. Unfortunately, whenever we have tried to give him a chance, it was a slow goal, but today’s goal was the best we had at home this season,” Dhoni added.
CSK will be against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on May 3 at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengalur.
