The Palace Flower Show 2025 was inaugurated at the Mysuru Palace on December 21 evening.
The flower show features more than 25,000 ornamental pots with large varieties of flowers including roses, chrysanthemums, carnations, gerberas, orchids, anthuriums and lilies. They will be on display from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. until December 31.
One of the highlights of this year’s exhibition is the Preamble to the Constitution of India, designed in the form of a book and decorated with flowers. The floral replica of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham is also another major attraction of the flower show.
Meanwhile, cultural programs are also scheduled on the palace premises from December 21 to 25 between 5:00 pm and 9:30 pm. The palace will be illuminated every evening from 19:00 to 21:00.
On the final day, December 31, there will be a police band performance to usher in the New Year from 11pm to midnight, followed by an eco-friendly fireworks display.
Tanveer Sait, former Minister and MLA, TS Srivatsa, MLA, D. Thimmaiah, MLC, G. Lakshmikanth Reddy, Deputy Commissioner Mysuru, Yukesh Kumar, CEO Mysuru Zilla Panchayat and Subramanya, Deputy Director Mysuru Flower Board were present at the inauguration.
