Student University in Florida, who allegedly launched fire near the Union student on Thursday, killed two and injured six, was previously a significant international battle for childcare on Wednesday. The suspect, 20 -year -old Phoenix Ikner, was shot on the scene by enforcing the right and remains hospitalized with intrepid injuries, the officials said.
Suspect was known as Christian Gunnar Eriksen
Phoenix Ikner was formerly known as Christian Gunnar Eriksen. He changed his name in 2020, years after his biological mother allegedly kidnapped him and fled from the United States, according to ABC report.
According to the 2015 honorary statement from the Sheriff’s Leon County office, Christian was taught by his mother Anne-Mari Eriksen to Norway in violation of the agreement on the custody of the court. Reportedly, she told the father of Christopher Ikner that she was taking her son to South Florida for the spring holiday.
“Instead of staying in South Florida, the defendant allegedly fled him from the country,” he said. The document added that Christian was delayed and needed access to medical treatment in the US.
Special needs of a child quoted in custody
At that time, Christian was reportedly on the drugs of “several health and mental problems to include growth hormone and ADHD disorder”. Mother and child were double citizens of the US and Norway.
Anne-Mari Eriksen was arrested in July 2015 at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in July 2015, and later did not apply for any contest of illegal removal of the child from Florida.
Court of Justice about the storage of Fallout
After returning, Anne-Mari Eriksen filed an action for insult and defamation against her father, his wife (Jessica Ikner) and two other family members. The action was looking for over $ 80,000 for damages for what she claimed was the “alienation of her parents” and an emotional impact on a Christian. The case was rejected seven months later.
Ties to enforcement of law
Suspect is the stepmother of the Sheriff Representative Leon County Jessica Iknerová, who serves with a separation of over 18 years. Walter McNeil confirmed that one of her personal weapons was used in the attack.
“The Jessica Ikner service was exceptional,” McNeil said. He acknowledged the connection of the suspect with the Sheriff Office and added: “Phoenix was immersed in the Sheriff’s Leon County district.”
Phoenix Ikner was also a long -term member of the Advisory Board for Youth, McNeil said.
Response
The head of Lawrence Revell from the Tallahassee Police Department appreciated the rapid response of the right to enforce.
“We work several scenes of crime and there are potentially hundreds, not thousands, witnesses,” he said at a press briefing. “The reaction to enforcement was massive and very fast.”
Revell added that the suspect did not fulfill the orders of the officers, but did not shoot at the police before being shot and taken into custody.
The ongoing investigation of the motif
On Friday, the officials said that the motive of the attack remained investigated. The authorities continue to process several scenes of crime and interviews with witnesses to understand what led to shooting.
