Punjab: Indian army on Wednesday, rescue daring and evacuated stuck individuals from the areas affected by floods in the district of Gurdaspur Gurjab.
Dramatic visuals of rescue operations show that the military helicopters float low above a small spot of soil, which completely cut off the flood water that transport people to safety. There was nothing else around Marooned, except for the huge area of water.
The Indian army performed rescue operations in Lassian, Gurdaspur on Wednesday, after the flood waters began to rise rapidly and threatened the lives in this area.
Three helicopters of cheetahs from the army aerial units performed several shuttles in extreme flying conditions and successfully evacuated 27 stuck people, the army said in post X.

In the last few days, Pandjab has witnessed a massive flood situation after a tireless downpour, and many claimed that the situation was similar to the 1988 floods, and the swollen rivers Sutlej, Beas and Ravi flood the large tracts of agricultural land and villages along their shores.
The worst villages are Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Fazilka, Kapurthala, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur and Amritsar.

On Thursday, Amritsar District administration evacuated several people, including children and older, who were imprisoned in flooded villages in the Ramdas area.
Amphibious all-terrain vehicles or ates and ships were distributed to save stressed people in the flooded rising waters of the Ravi Greeks.
