The Qatar Airways from Doha to Hong Kong was carried out on Tuesday (October 14, 2025) before the “technical release” in Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel of the international airport Sardar VallaBhbhai on Tuesday (October 14, 2025).
Flight QR816 landed safely around 2.32 hours and all passengers were reported safe. The airport officials said at 14:12 a complete emergency situation was announced to facilitate the landing of the aircraft, which was subsequently downloaded six minutes after landing at 14:38
“Due to the technical problem on the aircraft on the road from Doha to Hong Kong, it was declared a complete emergency that would allow the plane to land safely. The aircraft landed without the incident and the airport operations remained affected,” the airport said in an official statement.
Technical inspections are taking place to determine whether the aircraft can continue their journey to Hong Kong. If not, Qatar Airways will deploy an alternative aircraft that minimize passenger delays, sources said.
