
Minister for matters Haj V. Abdurahman (completely left) said goodbye to the first dose of pilgrims in Karipur on Friday evening.
The first dose of pilgrims from Kerala under the supervision of the Haj Committee left Karipur for Jeddah in the early Saturday hours. Air India Express Flight IX 3011 took off from Karipur at 12.45 hours carrying 172 pilgrims. Up to 95 of them were women.
Pilgrims arrived in the Haj in Haj House in Karipur on Friday morning. In the camp they held prayers of Juma. The Minister responsible for the matters of Haj V. Abdurahiman launched the camp and said goodbye to the first dose of pilgrims.
The second flight Haj left Karipur at 16:30 with 87 men and 86 women on board.
Officials said they would be from Karipur on Sunday and two from Kannura. Flights from Karipur will be at 12.55: 55, 8:50 and 16:30, pilgrims flying on Sunday reached the haj camps on Saturday.
The pilgrim kissed his granddaughter before he went to Makkah in Karipur on Friday evening.
The first flight from Kannura will leave on Sunday at 4 o’clock in the morning and the second flight will be at 19:30
The Haj camp offers various equipment, including medical facilities and currency exchange services. Airlines operating flights of Haj deposited temporary luggage weight limits until Monday as a result of international air traffic regulations.
The Minister urged the pilgrims to pray for global peace, especially with regard to the escalating borderline voltage. He advised them to take care of and measures against extreme heat in Saudi Arabia.
The Chairman of the Haj Husain Saqafi Chelikkode Chairped Ingural Functions. The main guest was P. Abdul Hameed, MLA. Ahamed Devankoville, Mla, TV Ibrahim, Mil and PTA Rahe, Mla, spoke. Syed Rashedali Shihab led a prayer.
