KARIMNAGAR
Ahead of the first phase of the Gram Panchayat elections scheduled to be held on December 11, the Karimnagar Rural Police on Sunday organized flag marches in villages in the rural mandal where polling was held.
The flag marches were held in Maqdumpur, Cherlabuthkur, Chamanpalli and Nagunur villages as part of measures to instill confidence among voters in ensuring free and fair elections, police said.
A strong contingent of police personnel led by Karimnagar Rural ACP Vijay Kumar participated in the flag marches.
