Five people, including four Transgender people, were booked last week for the alleged creation of a hand at the ADUGODI police station in the southeast Bengalur, the police said.
Suspects, residents of Ambedkar Nagar in Adugodi, allegedly caused public inconvenience during birthday celebration and damaged several vehicles after which the locals pointed out to the police.
“Our patrol vehicle Hoysala arrived and brought them to the station. They began to abuse our officers without any provocation,” the officer said, adding that the suspects refused to listen to someone.
Another manager said that the suspects were drunk and damaged more vehicles parked in this area. “When they brought to the station, they faced officers and threw a rough tongue on them, led us to register the case,” the officer said.
Police Adugodi has booked the suspicious suspects according to the provisions of BNS concerning public harassment, illegal restrictions and assaults, or the use of criminal power to discourage a civil servant in the fulfillment of official obligations.
“All of them have been issued a notification and they were taken from businesses in which they will not be involved in such incidents,” the officer told the Hinda.
