In the middle of the news of the growing growth between the Chief of the District Police (DPC) in Pathanamtt and the Police Association, five officers, including the District President of the Association, was excluded from the Office of another Superintendent Police (SP).
While the ministry claims that the transfer of these officials to the district headquarters has been made for “administrative comfort”, official sources indicate that a sudden step was induced by escalating the voltage between DPC and the association. Development also agrees that the higher officers are considering the department’s measures over the alleged outage in the registration of the protection of children from the Act on Sexual Crimes (POCSO), which concerns the head of the High Court lawyer.
Sources suggest that transfers were caused by suspicion that internal information regarding the case was enforced into the medium from another SP.
Already suspended
Although two officers, including a representative of the police director who have been suspended in connection with the case, the discussion is still deepening. The chairman of the Child Care Committee allegedly turned to the main minister and accused the police leadership of the shielding of higher officers in the sacrifice of the juniors.
In addition to the POCSO case, there is also a control of responsibility for the death of a man who was found after his release from the Koipuram police station. While the circular inspector has already been suspended, speculation is increasing that the case can also stimulate disciplinary measures at the digging level.
Meanwhile, the Police Department rejected the commencement of all targeted disciplinary measures and explained that “the Office of another SP has no sanctioned places or the specified strength of employees”.
