
The Thalaghattapura police arrested five Nepalese citizens for alleged burglary and theft of valuables from the JHBCS house in Gubbalale. Police received valuables worth £ 50, including 502 grams of gold, 4.5 kg of silver, diamond jewelry and two mobile phones from the accused, police commissioner B. Dayananda said on Tuesday.
The defendants were identified as Lal Bahadur Bohar, 48, Kamal Bahadur Chalouni, 34, Kiran Bohar, 23, Nepra Bahadur Chalouni, 42 years, and Rajesh Bahadur Saha, 35 years old who worked for everyday wages in hotels and other places.
According to the complainant, Ravishankar, a civic supplier in JHBCS Layout, March 28, along with his wife and son left the house for work as usual in the morning, and when they returned, they noticed that burglary and valuables were missing. Based on the complaint, the police immediately took part in the investigation and arrested one of the accused near Karishma Hills in Gubbalale within 48 hours. Then, on the basis of the information they gave, four more were also arrested in the cottage on the main road Kanakapura 30 March. The police received 372 grams of gold and diamond jewelry and 2.2 kg of silver of them.
Subsequently, 2 April 110 grams of gold jewelry and 1.1 kg of silver cells and two mobile phones were obtained from the accused house, which was first arrested. April 3, 20 grams of gold and 1.2 kg of silver were obtained from his wife.
