On Thursday evening up to five pastures were saved on cattle who were imprisoned in the swollen Munner of the stream in Chintakani mandal in the district of Khammam.
The sources said that five villagers went to the field that adjoined to Munner on the cattle grazing in the afternoon when they got stuck due to a sudden increase in water in the stream late afternoon.
Officials who were alerted by farmers working in nearby agricultural fields reached the seats together with the NDRF team according to the instructions of the Deputy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramark on the phone.
The NDR staff saved five pastures on cattle by means of an inflatable ship.
