Five people suffered injuries and two houses were damaged after the crane used for building the building crashed in Medahali in Kr Puram on Sunday morning.
The crane owned by a private company was parked in the residential area for repair. The inhabitants protested and even raised complaints to civil officials and local police, but without success, they said sources.
On Sunday, when the crane was repaired, part of the beam and the ladder was used to repair and came across the roofs of houses. The victims are tenants who were seriously injured when the roofs took hold.
