The TELANGANA Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) and Golconda arrested five drugs, including two Nigerian nationals, and on Friday, June 13) confiscated cocaine, ecstasy and MDMA pills.
The air raid in the Vinayak Nagar, Shaikpet, brought 20 grams of cocaine, 45 grams of MDMA, 20 grams of ecstasy, 40,000 in cash and six mobile phones, said TGANB director Sandeep Shandilya.
The Arrested Have Been Identified As 38-Yearr-Old Okoro Cosmos Ramsey and 44-Year-ALD CHIMEZIE BONIFACE ADIKEA, BOTH NIGERIAN NATIONALS RESIDING IN HYDERABAD, 29-YEAR-ALD VEERAPALI Kalyani, From Goa and 26-Year-Old Abdul Jafar Khan aka Sharukh, of Chikkamagalur in Karnataka.
“All five previously served time in Canchalguda Central Prison, where they met and created links in a common barracks. After their release, they continued to trade drugs using contacts across Mumbai, Goa and Bengalur,” the officer said.
He also explained that Cosmos and Adikea came from cocaine and MDMA from a supplier named James in Mumbai and sold it to the seller, including Lakshmathi. “Meanwhile, Lakshmati maintained links with a wide network of retailers operating in Goa, Bengalur and Secunderabad and gained various synthetic and chemical drugs such as weed OG, Kokain and MDMA,” Shandilya added.
The procedure followed with the tip that Lakshmati headed to Cosmos’s residence to collect cocaine and MDMA. Romi, who traveled from Bengalur with ecstasy and Jafar Khan, who also supplied drugs, was present when the police attacked the premises.
All five are reportedly part of the catering distribution chain for more than 25 consumers in Hyderabad. Remarkably, several accused are recurring perpetrators, while Cosmos was associated with three cases of NDPS Act, Lakshpathi to eight, Romi for three and Jafar Khan and Adikea in two cases.
The authorities urged the public to report drug-related activities via the 1908 Aid or E-e-mail at tsnabho-hyd@tspolice.gov.in. They made sure that the information about the informator would remain confidential and credible potential customers will be rewarded.
