Five booked for alleged attack on house in Kannur

Five people, allegedly CPI(M) workers, have been booked by the Mattannur police in connection with the alleged attack on a Congress worker’s house at Elannur near Mattannur on Sunday (May 17).

According to the FIR registered by the police, the incident took place around 12.30 pm at Nilambari house in Kolari area of ​​Elannur, where complainant AP Ramakrishnan and his family live.

The complainant alleged that the accused was pelting stones and hurling explosives at the house.

The accused named in the FIR are Vipin Raj, Vishwa Raj, Shreyas, Varun and Abhikrishna, all natives of Kannur district.
