
The Telangana Cyber Security Authority has arrested five persons from Hyderabad, Warangal and Uttar Pradesh for their alleged role in supplying Indian SIM cards to a Cambodia-based cyber fraud syndicate.
The accused have been identified as Rizvan (29) of Uttar Pradesh, Syed Ashraf Ali (30) of Chandrayangutta, Syed Sohail of Talab Katta, Ateeq Ahmed of Charminar and Nune Ashok (29) of Karimnagar district. Police said the network was part of a larger organized racket with international ties.
