The Ministry added that FIU-IN’s director also issued a notice under the 2000 Information Technology Act, which was looking for the URL of Applications and URL addresses that operated illegally without compliance with PMLA in India.

These obligations are based on activities and are not dependent on the physical presence of entity in India. The Regulation contains reports, records and other VDA service providers, which also includes registration with the Fiu Indian, said the ministry.
