
Telugu actor Fish Venkat died on July 18, at the age of 53 years after the fight against kidney -related diseases, Telangana said today. On Friday he breathed his last at Hyderabad hospital.
In the last few months, a reputable comedian has been struggling with severe kidney problems, but his condition deteriorated and was admitted to intensive care despite the ongoing dialysis. Doctors proposed immediate kidney transplantation when the fan was supported, but a suitable kidney donor could not be found in time and died due to renal failure due to limiting medical intervention.
He was known for playing comedy and villain roles in several Tollywood films, including Gabbar Singh, ADHURS, DJ Till, Kushi, Dhee, Bunny, Dhee and Mirapakay.
Fish Venkat, whose real name is Venkat Raj, got the name “Fish” because of the comedy scene that referred to the fish market. His latest acting match was with Aha Thriller “Coffee with Murderer”.
The breakthrough in his career came under the mentorship of late director Dasari Narayan Rao, who introduced him in Sammakka Sarakka. Venkat, synonym with sharp comedy timing and expressive support roles, he acted in more than 100 films during his life – carving permanent niches in the entertainment industry.
In the middle of the amplification of the medical crisis Venku, his family tried to ensure his treatment. His daughter, Shravanthi, filed a public call for monetary aid because the amount required for Venku transplant was beyond their budget.
