With an inflow still exceeding 11 lakh Cusecs, Godavari’s first flood warning remains in force Sir Arthur Cotton Parrage in Dowleswaam. However, it is expected that it will decrease over the next 24 hours.
The inhabitants of the islands along the Godavari River were recommended not to exceed the river. All fishing activities were suspended throughout the Godavari area.
At the Chintoor agency in the district of Alluri Sitharama Raja, officials provide basic commodities to people affected by the flood Godavari. As on Monday, at least 30 villages were interrupted.
