Engineers deployed to repair the British Royal Navy
As part of the standard protocol, the British F-35B fighter was moved to Hangar after a team of British engineers arrived at Trivandrum Airport to assess and repair the stuck aircraft.
This comes after the British authorities have accepted the offer of space in the maintenance (MRO) facility for the British Royal Stream on Sunday.
“The United Kingdom remains very grateful for the continuing support and cooperation of the Indian authorities and airport teams,” the British High Commissioner said in his statement, and said.
Why did the British aircraft have to stop in India?
On Saturday, June 14th, the British aircraft had to carry out an emergency landing after reporting low fuel in the middle of the flight, News Wire PTI reported and quoted resources.
“The pilot reported low fuel and asked for permission to land. Everything was processed quickly and professionally,” the source said.
The stuck aircraft F-35 is the same aircraft that US President Donald Trump offered early this year that it includes India among the selected group of nations authorized to buy from the US.
When the aircraft became the speaking of the city
Even weeks after the surprise of the F-35 Stealth Fighter’s in Kerala, the buzzing around the stuck aircraft showed no signs of fading. What began as a public curiosity has turned into a full -fledged trend of social media.
Kerala’s tourism department started things with a light social media contribution with the plane and it wasn’t long before the others joined the entertainment. From Milma, the State of the Dairy Cooperative, to the Police of Keral, the state company AIDS Control Society and even private brands – they all jumped on a bus with their own smart and unpredictable.
