Kerala became the first state in the country opened by the Ksheerasree portal, animal breeding and the Minister of Milk Development J. Chinchu Rani said.
On Friday she started a public meeting of the Thrissur District Dairy Conference in Velangalluria.
“The government introduces several programs that attract youth into the milk sector.
She also pointed out that through the Dairy Council in the dairy, farmers have now gained key support and that Kerala ranked second in the ground in the country in terms of the efficiency of milk production.
Kerala will cooperate with Panjab in areas such as the production and distribution of sperm, the replacement of cattle and bulls with high genital, genetic selection and evaluation, embryo transmission technology and advanced artificial insemination techniques. “This partnership will strengthen the technological skills of keral in animal breeding,” the minister added.
The District Dairy Meeting was arranged together by the Milk Development Department, local government, milk cooperatives, Kerala Feeds, Milma and various other agencies in this industry. Excellent milk farmers were awarded at the event.
The meeting was chaired by President Panchayat Velangallur Sudha Dileep. Shalini Gopinath Director presented the details of the Ksheerasree portal.
